This is a winter scene I painted up for a seminar in Washington. This painting looks like a watercolor, and it draws you into the painting. I'm looking forward to painting with the group and seeing how they love painting it to.

The book I'm working on at this time is on scrolling. Big and bold scrolling, the scrolling I like to do, is not small, I find using a brush for the beginning and a pen later I can get the look I want. This book is going to be a look at my work book that I use to come up with the scrolls I use. There is going to be paintings that I have worked the scrolls into and scrolls I have added paintings to. I feel after you can do the big and bold scrolls you can do the smaller scrolls that so many like. Look for this book is the spring.
This book looks back at some of the paintings and studies I have done and loved from the past and then I did them again in a new way. There is a section with 8 portraits with written studies so you can do a portrait that you want to do. There is a spet-by-step on how to paint blue berries for that life like look. Three fun and colorful painting of dragons, one dragon is on a large plate , the front of the dragon is on the front of the plate and the back of the dragon is on the back of the plate and he is holding dragonflies on strings. Indians dripped the old way and lions, elk dripped in a new way. This book has something new for you on every page.
